Oh my god please come back I need ur asada tacos I have pulled up twice hoping you guys made a comeback. If not please drop the recipe for that ancho bbq bro I am having withdrawals please help
Two of us walked in around 5:00 on a Monday and were seated right away. They didn't seem to have any local beer on tap but did have standard beer I'd expect elsewhere. We ordered a Hazy IPA and watermelon mojito. Chips and salsa are included. The salsa was good, nothing outstanding compared to other locations. We got the guacamole on the side too, also good but noticed it had a lot of lime flavor to it. I got the Panchos Enchilidas. The flavor was great! I would definitely order again. They had a nice spice to it but it wasn't overwhelming. It's not mentioned on the menu, but it is topped with tomato and onion. You receive 3, so the portions are generous. It comes with refried beans and poblano rice. The churro donut holes are little fried cinnamon donut holes. I'm guessing churro is in the name because it's cinnamon. It comes with a scoop of ice cream in the middle and a lot of whipped cream on top. The atmosphere inside is very dark with individual table lighting. It wasn't too dark to see what was going on, but it was definitely part of the ambience. They do not hand out menus, instead there is a QR code at the table that you scan to see the menu .
Came in for lunch with a new colleague. Service was great & super friendly. The shot of mezcal was deliciously Smokey & smooth. The tacos were delicious & I wish I could remember the one my colleague ordered. The crispy pork belly was indeed crispy & perfect. The carnitas were tender & flavorful. I didn't care much for the tortillas though. We also ordered queso fundido with chorizo. Cheesy deliciousness. The chorizo was a perfect addition. Would definitely get this again.
Great casual bar vibes for a Cantina. The fajitas were excellent and filling and came out quickly. I ordered a black cherry margarita from Gunnar the bartender who was a great conversationalist as well as attentive server.
We ventured to Otra Vez for lunch after commenting on the cute signage every time we walked by. The atmosphere was very cool, especially with the dangling string lights. My boyfriend ordered the chimichanga and thought it was fantastic. The portion size was huge! I had a carne asada and choriqueso tacos. Both were very flavorful and stuffed full. My only note is that typically street tacos come with two tortillas, and these only come with one. I had to eat the choriqueso taco with a fork because the tortilla ripped immediately.
Sexy lighting and music. Lots of TVs with sports on. The house made smoky salsa is flavorful with just the right amount of heat. Drake, the bartender, is extremely professional and great on taking care of everyone at the bar, even when it's busy. He anticipates needs before you ask. They have some traditional favorites and some creative dishes. Ask for the house made hot sauce! A good cocktail and margarita menu. There's a large garage door to invite in the outdoor air. Unfortunately, during this time (fall 2023) the street outside is all torn up with construction. Overall good food and great service. I'll be back!
